RITZWELL DECORATES THE NEW BULGARI HOTEL TOKYO.
Located between the 40th and the 45th floor of a modern skyscraper in the Yaesu district, the new Bulgari Hotel Tokyo (Bulgari Hotels&Resorts) offers its guests a view over the Imperial Palace and, as far as the eye can see, over the surrounding landscape.
Decorated with class and elegance, its interiors reflect modern Italian design with touches of Japanese tradition. Spacious and comfortable, all the environments are defined by partitions in natural wood, flower and geometric patterned panelling and large rugs in the natural colours. This is the setting that forms the background for the high-end furniture designed by the Japanese company Ritzwell.
On the 45th floor, The Bulgari Bar, which is connoted by a mosaic wall with trees and colourful birds, features the wooden oak tables from the MO TABLE collection which were specifically made to measure for the occasion. The soft and organic design that characterises them in their surfaces with rounded edges and in the tilted and lathed legs is the perfect match for the sophisticated seats that surround them. Another result of a project dedicated to the hotel is the barcart used to serve drinks at the tables, characterised by the handle covered in leather, one of Ritzwell’s most distinctive materials.
Elegant and spacious, the 98 rooms and suites are warmed up by wooden surfaces alternated with upholsteries in brown and orange hues. Also in this case, Ritzwell’s pieces are one of the true stars of each environment, in particular the MO BRIDGE desk and the MO BRIDGE STOOL with their rounded lines and impactful contrast between the wood in a matt black finish and the soft leather. The MO BRIDGE BENCHES, with their distinctive leather weave, are functional accessories in any interior and together with the MO SIDE TABLE and custom-made nightstands and console tables they complete each environment. The bathrooms feature a made-to-measure console cabinet with water-resistant urethane finish and a powder-coated steel structure. The matt black colour of this latter piece is combined with the coating in black granite. Lastly, for the generously sized suites, Ritzwell produced made-to-measure closets in natural oak wood with grain in relief and panelled doors in soft leather that will give guests a powerful tactile and visual sensation.
