This modular sofa features a low seat as a reference to the way Japanese people sit on the tatami and is made particularly comfortable by the soft and large cushions placed delicately on the modern structure, which is entirely made in solid ash. The backrest and armrests define a particularly appealing stylistic detail. It springs from a tidy juxtaposition of thin wooden staves that shape a grid, which is a decorative and functional element all at once.
