DESIGN SHINSAKU MIYAMOTO
Designed for conversation and offered in a square or rectangular shape in two different heights, it combines a delicately curved solid-walnut or oak top with a slender cylindrical steel leg, in a natural finish, grey or matt black varnish. It is at once highly contemporary and deeply traditional: the lower version, reflects the yukaza Japanese floor seating and its delicate appearance inspires new types of Tokonoma, the alcoves that display a family’s most precious items in a traditional Japanese home.
